David who lives in Sussex had a profound spiritual experience in August 1993 after which he began to paint, having not done so before. His unusual story has been featured on American and European TV, articles have appeared in the press and his story has been included in a book of unusual life stories which has been published in the USA.

Although watercolour is his favourite medium, he has more recently ventured into a ‘looser style’ using pastel and acrylic. He enjoys exploring the effects of light on the landscape and much admires the work of the pre-raphaelite and impressionist schools.

He has had a number of one-man exhibitions and his paintings and prints hang in collections in the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and South Africa.
